All power plants are subject to technical operation

The government resolution approved the Rules of technical operation of power plants and networks of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the rules, already completed CHPPs, HPPs, SPPs and other generating power plants must be accepted for operation.

Before operation is carried out:

individual equipment tests, functional tests of individual structures for power units, ending with a test run of the main and auxiliary equipment;
complex tests of equipment.
Persons with special education and training are allowed to work at power facilities. Operating and maintenance personnel must undergo accident management training at least once every 3 months. The rules also establish the procedure for technical and technological control over the organization of power facilities operation, maintenance and modernization.
