An electronic platform of volunteers based on the youth portal will be launched

The Government Resolution "On measures to further support volunteerism" was adopted. According to Resolution, from June 1, 2022, an electronic platform of volunteers created on the basis of the youth portal of Uzbekistan will be launched.

The resolution approved a model regulation on the procedure for the implementation of the tasks and functions of government agencies through volunteering in a relatively efficient and cost-effective manner.

Adults with knowledge and skills in the relevant field, who are involved as volunteers, can be involved as volunteers in the activities of government agencies.

Trainees can volunteer as part of a group of volunteers outside of training.

Volunteers cannot be involved in the following structures:

performing cash transactions;
storage and handling of confidential information;
performing tasks that are dangerous to human life and require special knowledge and skills.
If a volunteer involved in a government agency is volunteering for more than 20 hours per month, a volunteer contract must be signed with him or her.
