Anyone who believes that the school is only the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Education is completely mistaken

A video conference chaired by the President is on the go.

"Education is our future, a matter of life and death. Therefore, we have no right to delay reforms in this sphere. No matter how difficult it is, we must lay a solid foundation for school education today, because we have lost a lot of time. Anyone who believes that the school is only the responsibility of the Ministry of Public Education is completely mistaken. Reforms in the field of school education should be the responsibility of ministries and departments, industry leaders, governors at all levels, academia, the intelligentsia, and the general public. Only in this case, the expected results can be achieved" the head of state said at the beginning of the meeting.

"New five-year development strategy has been announced.

Great goals for the gradual growth of GDP and exports, the rapid development of industry and information technology, and the reduction of poverty have been set.

Who will accomplish these tasks? Of course, competitive young people with modern knowledge in school do.

By and large, the reform of 10,130 schools across the country is closely linked to the future of more than 6 million students, over 500,000 teachers, all segments of society in general, and every family.

Hence, we need a quality education system, schools that meet modern requirements and have all the conditions, with qualified teachers, school principals with leadership skills.

"The fourth priority of the development strategy, 5 goals of the "100 goals for human dignity" and 18 tasks in it are directly related to school education" – noted the President.
