As part of the national project "Yashil Makon" will be held environmental event "Green Tashkent"
The Green Tashkent environmental event dedicated to the completion of the next stage of the large-scale social program “Green Schools of Uzbekistan” will be held on April 23 in Garden Dostlik.
The holiday is part of a nationwide project "Yashil Makon" aimed at raising the environmental awareness of the population.
The initiator and organizer of the social program is the Ecological Construction Council of Uzbekistan, a non-profit non-governmental organization launched in 2019. During its existence, the Council has conducted various campaigns, seminars and trainings aimed at raising environmental awareness and introducing the principles of sustainable development in the context of growing urbanization.
“In the official part of the Green Tashkent event, which will be held on April 23-24 as part of the nationwide Green Space project, certificates will be awarded to teachers and methodologists, as well as letters of appreciation to officials and department heads of the Ministry of Public Education who worked with the program” said Temur Ahmedov, an international expert and founder of the Ecological Construction Council of Uzbekistan.
The Association of Volunteers, Makon TV, Heritage Foundation, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Yakkasaroy district administration took an active part in organizing the holiday.
The program of the event includes a children's concert and an area of activity for children.The participants of the holiday will be able to get acquainted with chemical experiments, assemble robots and engage in creative activities in an interactive way. This program is implemented in full compliance with the state strategy of STEAM-education (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math). The program also includes a chemical show and interactive classes on "Air Magic", "Energy", "Electricity", "Vibration and Waves".
