At the end of the negotiations, a total of 19 documents were signed

At the end of the high-level Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan negotiations, a document signing ceremony was held at the "Kuksaroy" residence.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Serdar Berdimukhamedov signed a joint statement. The main agreements reached in it were strengthened and long-term tasks for further expansion and strengthening of multifaceted mutually beneficial cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries were defined.

Agreements were signed by heads of ministries and departments of the two countries in the presence of the heads of state. A total of 19 documents were signed, including:

Agreement on the development of cooperation in the field of transport and transit;

Agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism;

Agreement on management, protection and rational use of Amudarya water resources;

Agreement on joint selection of initiative scientific research projects;

the trade-economic cooperation and industrial cooperation development program for 2022-2025;

Program on scientific and technical cooperation for 2022-2024;

Cooperation program between the ministries of foreign affairs for 2023-2024;

A plan of measures to ensure the practical implementation of the provisions of the Intergovernmental Agreement on the establishment and regulation of the activities of the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border trade zone - Trade Center.
