Athletes of Uzbekistan won two medals at the World Games

About 3,600 athletes from 110 countries took part in the 11th World Games held in Birmingham, USA from July 7-17. In it, 5 athletes defended the honor of Uzbekistan in different directions.
Karate player Doston Otabolayev, who took part in the 75-kilogram weight category, won the bronze medal of the competition. Darya Latisheva, the wushu master who won a silver medal at the 2018 Asian Games held in Indonesia, climbed to the second step of the podium.
Apart from them, Bahromjon Mashrapov in jiu-jitsu and Fanat Khahramon in muay-thai and gymnast Ekaterina Fetisova also defended the honor of Uzbekistan.
We remind you that the organizer of the World Games is the International World Games Association (IWGA), which was founded in 1980 by the initiative of the leaders of 12 sports federations who sought to popularize and raise the status of their sports.
