Bachelet listed a number of problems faced by Afghan women

In Afghanistan, 90% of families headed by women suffer from hunger. UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet informed about this.

Bachelet listed a number of problems faced by Afghan women. In particular, women's rights defenders are under constant attacks, mass unemployment among women is on the rise, freedom of movement is limited, and most of the businesses owned or managed by women are closed.

As a result of the ban on the right to education of Afghan women, 1.2 million of them remain outside of education.
