Building Uzbek-Hungarian strategic partnership were discussed.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban arrived in our country on an official visit on March 29.
On March 30, an official welcoming ceremony for the distinguished guest was held at the Kuksaroy residence. and Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Viktor Orban performed and national anthems of Uzbekistan and Hungary were played.
The ceremony was attended by members of the official delegations of the two countries, representatives of the diplomatic corps.

The high-level Uzbek-Hungarian talks began with a narrow format meeting.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev greeted the distinguished guest on the Uzbek land, noted that this visit will begin a new stage in relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
Viktor Orban sincerely thanked the head of our state for the warm welcome and confirmed Hungary's interest in expanding multifaceted cooperation with Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for the development of cooperation in the political, trade and economic, investment, financial and technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The parties confirmed their readiness to bring Uzbek-Hungarian relations based on mutual trust and a wide range of common interests to the level of strategic partnership. The leaders agreed to strengthen long-term cooperation, use new mutually beneficial areas, and maintain ties between business circles and regions of the two countries.
An exchange of views took place on issues of mutual interest on the international and regional agenda. The sides confirmed the coincidence of views and approaches to strengthening peace, security and stability.
