BYD cars to be officially sold in Uzbekistan

Chinese automobile concern BYD is completing preparations to launch direct sales in Uzbekistan and the process of registration of the first official dealerships of the company in Tashkent.

Deputy head of Uzavtosanoat Aziz Shukurov said. "BYD cars will go on sale as early as next month," the report said.

It is underlined that buyers are offered the most popular models of the Chinese manufacturer. Among them crossovers BYD Song, Chaser and Han sedan.

It is also reported that "Uzbek citizens will be able to buy cars from official dealers at "favourable prices", Aziz Shukurov said. In addition, buyers get a long-term manufacturer's warranty and have access to maintenance at authorised centres.
