Chess player from Uzbekistan joins the US national team

Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova, a chess player from Uzbekistan, took second place in the US Women's Championship.
According to the olamsport website, Gulruhbegim has joined the US national team.
Gulrukhbegim's sister, a former member of the Uzbekistan national chess team, Khulkar Tokhirjonova, said Gulrukhbegim is currently studying at the University of Missouri. All the conditions have been created for this.
Travel to the competition is also fully paid by this state.
Gulrukhbegim has another sister, by the way, also a grandmaster - Nafisa Muminova.
Nafisa now continues her activities in one of the chess clubs in Europe. In 2013, she became the first woman in Uzbekistan to receive the status of an international grandmaster.
Gulrukhbegim is a citizen of Uzbekistan. She is not listed in the ranks of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan.
In 2017, Gulrukhbegim Tohirzhonova won the "Most Beautiful CIS Chess Player" competition.
