Citizens are registered at the place of temporary residence through special tablets

The Government Decision "On measures to introduce on a pilot basis a new procedure of registration of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the place of temporary stay in city of Tashkent and Tashkent region" has been adopted.
Under the decision, the procedure for registering citizens at the place of temporary residence in city of Tashkent and Tashkent region will be further improved.
Electronic registration of citizens at the place of temporary stay through special tablet devices will be organized during the period from 1 November 2022 to 1 September 2023 in city of Tashkent and Tashkent region as an experiment.
Citizens are temporarily registered for a period not exceeding one year, as indicated in the owner's application or lease agreement registered with the tax authorities, at their place of residence in the city of Tashkent or Tashkent province.
For temporary registration, citizens may, at their discretion, apply within 15 days of arrival:
-Prevention inspectors at a convenient address;
-Migration and citizenship registration units;
-To the Public Service Centres;
-The unified interactive portal of public services.
The Temporary Registration Record Sheet is a document that confirms that a citizen is temporarily registered at the place of residence.
