Citizens who register checks in the mobile application will be refunded 1% of the purchase amount

The President's Resolution "On additional measures to improve the use of cash registers in the retail trade and services" was adopted.

According to the decree, from January 1, 2022:

• Individuals who made a purchase in retail outlets, public catering and consumer services and registered a purchase receipt in a mobile application, at the end of the month, will be refunded 1 percent of the purchase amount.
Except for payments for the purchase of a car, railway and air tickets, utilities and communication services, as well as purchase checks received when paying through payment system operators;

• for the sale of goods and the provision of services without presenting the buyer with checks or equivalent documents to individuals who have notified the tax authorities about the use of counterfeit marking or the absence of marking through a special application, a remuneration is paid in the amount of 20 percent of the amount of the imposed fine;

• a requirement is established for operators of payment systems on the mandatory connection of their payment systems to online cash registers and thereby ensure integration into the information systems of tax authorities.

• From January 1, 2022, it is prohibited to provide online cash registers and virtual cash register receipts, which do not reflect the identification codes of the unified electronic National Catalog of products (goods and services).
