CNCEC Corporation expanding its activities in Uzbekistan

Today, November 3, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjaev met with the Deputy Secretary, CEO and Board Member of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation Wen Gang to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation with the Chinese corporation.

It was noted that the growth of bilateral trade exceeded $7.4 billion in 2021 and reached $6.8 billion in January-September this year. This fact shows that the two countries have created favourable conditions for production and export activities, including those of foreign investors.

The sides underscored the growing nature of cooperation between the two countries in attracting investments and modern technologies. This is about the implementation of projects in oil and gas, chemical, construction materials, pharmaceuticals, agrarian sector, light industry, which, in turn, will facilitate technological modernization and diversification of economy in Uzbekistan.

Prospects of the corporation's participation in joint projects in green energy, transport, infrastructure development and other spheres have been considered.
