Consumer goods and services increased by an average of 0.8% in January

Goods and services in the consumer sector grew by an average of 0.8% in January 2023, according to the Statistics Agency. The annual price growth rate in the consumer sector reached 12.2%.

In January 2023, the leading place in the growth of prices and tariffs was taken by foodstuffs, with their price increase by 1% on average for the month.

It is noted that prices of non-food products increased by 0.6% and paid services to the population by 0.7% in the period.
