Cooperation with Azerbaijan in the field of plant quarantine and plant protection

A presidential decree approving an international treaty has been issued. Pursuant to the decree, an agreement on cooperation in the field of plant quarantine and plant protection has been approved between the governments of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan. The agreement was signed on 21 June 2022 in Tashkent.

The Plant Protection Agency has been designated as the authorized body responsible for the implementation of this international agreement.

The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of the relevant ministries and agencies will ensure that the obligations of Uzbekistan are fulfilled after the entry into force of this international treaty.
