Cooperation with Turkish companies discussed

The Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade held meetings with the heads of Turkish companies "Betlis Textile" and "Quadro Marmara Group", acting in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

"Quadro Marmara Group" company realizes projects in the field of intensive horticulture and export of fruit and vegetable products in Tashkent region. To date, the company has attracted 12 million dollars of investment and planted 669 thousand fruit trees.

During meetings, Turkish investors highly rated the consistent reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, the state's attention to the problems and issues of entrepreneurs, and a favorable investment climate created in our country.

As a result of meetings, the sides expressed readiness to undertake appropriate measures to solve problems faced by investors in the course of their activity and create conditions for long-term mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkish investors and Uzbek partners.

For information: Enterprise "Betlis Textile" which is a part of "Best Group" company established in 2006 carries out its activity in the sphere of textile production in Tashkent region. "Best Group" consists of 9 companies with about 4,000 employees. The company's annual export volume is 30-35 million dollars.
