Country platform for Uzbekistan

At the end of the second day of the Tashkent International Investment Forum, a round table "Country platform for Uzbekistan" was held with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Oripov and heads of international financial organizations.

The event was moderated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov.

The "Country Platform" is a new World Bank initiative aimed at establishing coordinated cooperation with international financial institutions, donors and development partners in the design and implementation of programs and projects for socio-economic development among recipient countries. Uzbekistan is one of 11 pilot countries selected to test this initiative.

In particular, the speakers of the round table were Masatsugu Asakawa, President of the Asian Development Bank, Konstantin Limitovsky, Vice President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and Hela Cheikgrove, Vice President of the International Financial Center.

As a result of the event, a number of mutually beneficial agreements and agreements were signed between the parties.
