The President is holding a meeting on the mobilization of new reserves in the field of electrical engineering.

Over the past five years, as a result of the conditions created in this network:

Investments worth $ 465 million US have been disbursed and 163 new projects have been launched;

production quadrupled (from 4 trillion to 17 trillion UZS) and exports tripled (from $ 190 million to $ 565 million US);

The number of jobs in the sector has doubled to 32,000.

"It is not enough yet. In the development program, increasing the production of electrical products by 2 times and exports by 3 times are aimed at by 2026.
In the following years, copper production is expected to double. We need to process it in-depth and export competitive finished products, ” the President said.

To do this, it is necessary to create an industrial cluster that includes an integrated chain "Education - Innovation - Production - Service."
