Crisis situations directly affect Central Asian countries

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev addresses the VI Summit of the Council on Cooperation and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia in Astana.

At the beginning of his speech, the head of state noted that over the past period, this structure has demonstrated its exceptional relevance as an important field for a broad and open dialogue on security issues, strengthening mutual trust and sustainable development in Asia. Uzbekistan expressed its willingness to participate in joint activities on the transformation of the forum.

"Today we are witnessing growing uncertainty in international relations and an unprecedented lack of dialogue and trust.

All this undermines the foundations of multilateral cooperation, provokes the escalation of conflicts, and leads to systemic breakthroughs in the global economy.

The emerging new geopolitical realities have a negative impact on the stability of the entire Asian continent.

Crisis situations also directly affect the countries of Central Asia, slowing down our efforts to deepen economic integration," the President said.
