President adopted a Decree "On additional measures to implement the market principle in the cultivation and sale of grain."

According to the document, a total of 2,550,000 tons of wheat will be produced, averaging 2.5 tons per hectare of irrigated area for the 2022 crop, of which:

1,783.5 thousand tons will be purchased as a commodity wheat of the state resource and 266.5 thousand tons of seeds at the expense of the State Support Fund for Agriculture;

500 thousand tons will be accepted for temporary storage at a commercial representative of the fund for further sale on the exchange trades by farmers and other grain producers.

Commodity wheat accepted for temporary storage in the commercial representative of wheat growers for the 2022 harvest will be sold through exchange trades in July-August 2022.

Purchased at the expense of the Fund and received for temporary storage from wheat growers:

Wheat of class 3 and above will be sold to entrepreneurs with flour production capacity, who are obliged to sell at least 75% of the flour purchased at the exchange through exchange trades;

Class 4 and 5 wheat will be sold to all entrepreneurs without any restrictions through exchange trades on a schedule approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Up to 50% of transportation costs for the delivery of flour and flour products to remote, inaccessible and mountainous areas will be reimbursed.

According to the decree, the information system d-xarid.uz will be launched to ensure the speedy and transparent process of receiving and removing grain from warehouses.
