Davlat Bobonov is a candidate for the world's best judoka nomination

The International Judo Federation (IJF) has announced candidates for the Best Judoist of the Year 2022. In it, our compatriot Davlat Bobonov was recognised as one of the candidates in the nomination "Best Male Judoka of the Year".
According to regulations, the voting process will be held from 12 to 31 January on the awards.ijf.org platform. The winner will be announced February 5 at the Grand Slam tournament in Paris. Davlat Bobonov will compete against 4 other judokas: Tato Grigalashvili (Georgia), Andy Granda (Cuba), Sogbatar Send-Ochir (Mongolia), Hifumi Abe (Japan).
P.S. During 2022, Bobonov won a bronze medal at the Paris Grand Slam and Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya-2021, a silver medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Ulaanbaatar and a gold medal at the World Championships held in Tashkent.
