Defense ministers of the SCO member states held talks on holding joint events

At the meeting of the defense ministers, opinions were exchanged on current issues of international and regional security, and long-term tasks for strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of defense and security were defined.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting: expanding cooperation in the field of security in order to further strengthen friendship and good-neighborly relations between the SCO member states, to ensure peace, tranquility and reliable sustainable development in the region; Development of practical cooperation between the SCO and other regional partner organizations; Continuation of the "Peace Pipe" festival of military orchestras, which is an important platform for strengthening mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation in the field of military culture among the Armed Forces of the member states of the organization.
