Dense fog made 2 airports be restricted

Due to inclement weather this morning, the planes were unable to take off and land at Namangan and Andijan airports.

Due to heavy fog - a visibility of about 50 meters - Ural Airlines flight SVR2161 from Kazan could not land in Namangan at 08:48 and headed to the reserve airport in Tashkent.

Flight HY9620 also failed to land in Namangan owing to bad weather and was sent to a reserve airport in Fergana.

A similar situation was observed at Andijan airport. Another HY-622/621 flight from Moscow flew to a reserve airport in Fergana at 10:45 a.m. without landing at the scheduled airport.

According to the meteorological service, these airports will be closed until about 14:00 due to weather conditions. All scheduled flights will be diverted to the nearest alternative airfields.
