Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov met with Charge d'Affaires of the French Republic Bris Rockfeuil

The parties held fruitful negotiations in a warm atmosphere and confirmed a desire to comprehensively develop relations between Uzbekistan and France that reflects long-term and fundamental interests of the nations in both countries.
Particularly, preparation are underway for the 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation scheduled for May 11, 2021. Uzbekistan and France have formed a number of bilateral documents ensuring the full-scale implementation of large industrial and social projects. They also considered activities that include a comprehensive range of issues of cooperation in the fields of energy, tourism, housing and communal services, industry and other areas.
An Uzbek-French business forum is expected to be held within the framework of the ITUC, which will be organized jointly with the Movement of French Entrepreneurs "MEDEF International". More than 50 representatives of large French companies and banks, as well as relevant ministries, departments and private companies of Uzbekistan will take part in the forum.
The parties believe that this visit will develop multifaceted cooperation and mutual understanding between the two countries.
