Development model and key directions of the TIFC

On July 7 and 8, the Agency for Strategic Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan organized a session on the topic: "Creating an international financial center in Tashkent: a development model and key areas of activity."

The event, which brings together a large number of local and international experts, has managed to create an interactive discussion platform for the analysis of the financial situation in preparation for the creation of the IFC.

Today, July 7, on the first day of the strategy session, speakers included: Jochen Biedermann, who is Managing Director of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers; Alena Dolgova - head of the expert advisory group of the project to create a financial market in Tashkent; Ekaterina Golub - chief expert of the expert advisory group of the project to create an IFC in Tashkent, executive director of the non-profit fund, the analytical center "Forum"; Aziz Gafurov - Acting Deputy General Director of the Agency for Strategic Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On the first day of the strategic session, July 7, 3 discussions took place on such topics as: “Development of the financial market: infrastructure, participants”, “Business environment and corporate governance” and “Urban infrastructure”.

This session has a huge goal, which is to plan the opening of a financial center with highly qualified specialists and representatives of world financial centers.

This project should become an integrated ecosystem to support the activities of the investor in Uzbekistan.
