Domestic tourism subsidy extended to air travelers

A government decision has amended and supplemented the regulation on the reimbursement of part of travel expenses for travel to Uzbekistan and socially important destinations from the state budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan

According to the amendments, subsidies to air carriers in the amount of 25 percent of the cost of air tickets for socially important local destinations, including domestic tourism, will be provided until January 1, 2026 (previously - until June 1, 2022).

For information. A procedure has been established for air carriers to be reimbursed for part of the cost of air travel to local destinations.
