Driver's license can now be obtained online

From April 15, it will be possible to obtain a national driver's license online through a Single portal. This is stated in the relevant government decree.

In accordance with the resolution, the fingerprint data of applicants for a national driver's license will be posted. If the information systems do not contain the applicants' fingerprint data, they will be able to provide a sample of their signature in electronic form.

Applications for obtaining a new driver's license, as well as for replacing an old-style driver's license with a new one, can be submitted through the personal account on the portal. Applications are accepted daily, regardless of weekends and holidays, within 24 hours.

It will also be possible to receive a newly issued national driver's license by mail. By the end of the year, all existing driver's licenses will be digitized with reference to the PIN.
