During the World Cup in Qatar, the sale of alcohol is prohibited

During the World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in November-December of this year, the sale of alcohol will be prohibited in Qatar's stadiums.

This was reported by the authoritative "Reuters" news agency.

"Plans are still being worked out, but the current situation is that fans can drink beer before and after entering the stadium, but alcohol will not be sold in the arenas during games," the report said.

However, beer will be sold in certain parts of the FIFA Fan Zone in Doha. Alcohol is also available in several other designated areas.

For information, consumption of alcohol in public places is prohibited in Qatar, as well as its import into the country. Visitors can buy them only in a few hotels and clubs that have the appropriate license.
