Education loan for women is allocated at 14 percent

The President's decision "On measures to support women's education in higher, secondary special and professional educational organizations" was adopted.

According to the legislation, starting from the 2022/2023 academic year, all private, foreign and state higher, secondary special and professional educational organizations in the republic will offer full-time, part-time and evening education for women on a fee-contract basis. A new system of allocating funds from the State budget to banks has been introduced in order to finance educational loans under preferential conditions.

According to the decision:

educational loans are allocated at the rate of 14 percent;
the main part of the education loan is repaid for 7 years, starting from the seventh month after the end of the official period of study of the student;
family members with a permanent source of income and other third parties are allowed to participate as joint borrowers in issuing and repaying an educational loan;
Pledges and guarantees are not required for educational loans allocated to women of families included in the "Unified Register of Social Protection".
Interest rates on education loans are amortized by the Education Loan Funding Fund.
