Energy control is being boosted

A presidential decree will introduce the post of Deputy Prosecutor General responsible for monitoring compliance with the law and its implementation in the use of fuel and energy resources.

The Deputy Procurator General will:

—provides practical assistance in the performance of the tasks and functions entrusted to the UzenergoInspectorate;

—coordinates the activities of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
