Falcon Heavy rocket - first flight in 3 years

The US company SpaceX has confirmed the second launch of the Falcon Heavy super-heavy rocket as part of the secret crash vehicle for the Soviet Space Forces and the USSF-44 mission.

As noted, the rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, at 09:41 Eastern Time.

The rocket reportedly delivered several payloads into geostationary orbit for US space forces as part of a mission called USSF-44.

This is SpaceX's fourth Falcon Heavy launch overall, but the first since June 2019. Because of the mission's classification, the weight of the payload to be launched into Earth orbit and other mission details have not been announced.
