Fergana entrepreneurs and exporters are being supported

On May 5, the Government Commission on Foreign Trade, Investment, Local Industry Development and Technical Regulation headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade S. Umurzakov and heads of ministries, departments, industry associations and commercial banks paid visit to Fergana region.
During the visit to the region, there was a meeting with local businessmen at the “Palace of Entrepreneurs” in Fergana. The problems faced by entrepreneurs and exporters in the process of economic activity were discussed in detail.
The event was attended by more than 300 entrepreneurs who had the opportunity to address specific and systemic issues encountered in the implementation, production and export of investment projects.
During the meeting, the constructive proposals of entrepreneurs to improve the business environment were canvassed in detail, most of which were adopted for study, analysis and further implementation.
The participants welcomed the format of the direct dialogue, noting that regular dialogue between government officials and the business community is a key factor in improving the business environment, encouraging entrepreneurship and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
The heads of ministries, departments, commercial banks and local authorities were also instructed to take active measures for regular and systematic cooperation with the business community, to promptly resolve all issues and respond effectively to incoming appeals.
