Flags were raised at the new building of the Secretariat of the Turkic Council

On November 12, in the city of Istanbul, flags were raised at the new building of the Secretariat of the Turkic Council.
The ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the heads of the fraternal states.
In a solemn atmosphere, the flags of Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, as well as Hungary, Turkmenistan and the organization itself were raised.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, addressing the participants of the event, stressed the importance of further expanding the multifaceted partnership between the countries, and expressed the hope that the secretariat will continue to play an important role in realizing the goals and objectives of the organization.
The building, which houses the Secretariat of the Turkic Council, was built at the beginning of the 19th century. It is located in the Fatih district of Istanbul.
