«For the development of ferula in Uzbekistan, it is necessary to create plantations», – Bahrom Sharipov

Chairman of the Committee for the development of sericulture and karakul breeding Bahrom Sharipov noted in his video message that the cultivation and export of ferula is currently at a standstill in Uzbekistan. In order to discuss this problem, Bahrom Sharipov organized a video conference with entrepreneurs on the topic «Further development of ferula and increasing the volume of its industrial cultivation».
It is known that there are about 50 species of the ferula plant in the country, which grow mainly in sandy deserts, hills, mountains and foothills. This plant is used in medicine, cosmetics and national dishes of some countries because of the abundance of medicinal properties.
During the videoconference, the chairman of the committee for the development of sericulture and karakul breeding, Bahrom Sharipov, said that for the further development of ferula and increasing the volume of its industrial cultivation, it is necessary to create plantations of this plant.
