From new academic year, English will be taught according to the Cambridge method

From the beginning of the new academic year, English language and computer science will be taught according to Cambridge textbooks and methods.

In collaboration with USAID, a total of 46 textbooks have been adapted for Uzbekistan.

According to the report, that for the 2021/2022 academic year in the 1st and 2nd grades with the participation of 154 authors 326 titles of modern educational literature were created.

From the beginning of the new academic year, English will be taught in grades 1-11 and Informatics in grades 5-11 according to Cambridge textbooks and methods. A total of 46 textbooks have been adapted, translated, and tested in Uzbekistan as part of a project with USAID.

In addition, Russian language textbooks for Uzbek grades 2-11, as well as an original layout project of a teacher's book, exercise books, and a total of 20 titles of literature have been prepared by Gertsen Russian State Pedagogical University. In addition, 28 German language textbooks from the German publishing house Klett will be introduced in German language classes this year.
