Further cooperation on the supply of new Airbus H145 helicopters

On 24-26 January 2023, management of Uzbekistan Helicopters LLC, a structural unit of Uzbekistan Airways, will pay a visit to France and Germany. The visit provides for further cooperation between the two sides on supply of new Airbus H145 helicopters, the Uzbekistan Airways press service said.

Filling the air fleet with modern helicopters of new modifications will serve the development of domestic tourism and the popularization of inaccessible places in Uzbekistan.

Within high-level visit to France in November 2022 a number of documents were signed between Uzbekistan Airways and Airbus. A memorandum of understanding was signed with Airbus SAS to cooperate in medium-term supply of two H145 helicopters for Uzbekistan Helicopters LLC within the agreement on purchase of new aircrafts belonging to Airbus family.

It is noted that during the visit, negotiations between the companies, presentation of technical characteristics of the H145 helicopter and its test flights are planned.
