«German Economy Day» conference takes place in Tashkent

October 27 this year, representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the conference "Day of German Economy" held at "Hyatt Regency Tashkent" hotel with the support of the Representative Office of German Economy in Central Asia.

The event was also attended by more than 100 representatives of the German and Uzbek business community, investors, as well as heads and specialists of ministries and agencies in Uzbekistan.

The main purpose of the conference was to identify prospects and opportunities for further expansion of business relations, development of bilateral trade, promotion of joint investment projects and initiatives, in general - to strengthen ties between the business communities of both countries.

The conference programme included lectures and presentations on the most promising sectors such as "Agribusiness", "Mining and Metallurgy" and "Chemicals". German companies already active in the region spoke in detail about their activities and shared their experience in their respective fields.

The conference also included B2B and G2B talks and meetings during which politicians and business representatives from both countries were able to discuss opportunities and prospects for business cooperation.
