Global Times commented on Uzbek-Chinese diplomatic relations

“In a short historical period, the relations between Uzbekistan and China have risen to the level of a strategic partnership based on the principles of friendship, trust and mutual support. In recent years, there has been intensive, multifaceted cooperation in many areas, including trade, investment, energy, transport, communications, cultural and humanitarian exchanges, and tourism”- the Global Times reported.
A special page in the Global Times, one of China's largest newspapers, covers the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and China, the modern development of the republic and bilateral relations.
The publication also covers the "One Place, One Way" initiative put forward at the China-Central Asia Summit on January 25 and the priorities for developing cooperation within the SCO and further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership.
The article highlights the results of cooperation in the field of education: “Thousands of Uzbek students are studying in the most prevalent specialties at prestigious universities in China. The interest of Uzbek youth in learning Chinese is growing every year”.
