Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov became a Member of the Council of Elders of Organization of Turkic States

Former President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan H.E. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has become a member of the Council of Elders of OTS as the Elder of Turkmenistan.

Secretariat of Organization of Turkic States is honored by the appointment of H.E. G. Berdimuhamedov as the member of OTS Council of Elder and believes that His Excellency will further enrich the Council of Elders’ potential with his wisdom, experience and knowledge while playing a significant role in increasing the visibility of the Organization.

The participation of Berdimuhamedov in the Council of Elders, which is a advisory body of the Organization of Turkic States will give a new impetus to the contribution of Turkmenistan to deepening of multifaceted cooperation in the Turkic World in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
