How did pandemic impact on the economy of Uzbekistan

At the end of 2020, the country's economy grew by 1.6% compared to 2019. As a result of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on international markets, the country's foreign trade turnover decreased by 13.1%. However, despite the negative impact of the pandemic, state budget revenues in 2020 increased from 128.7 trillion to 132.9 trillion.

The report on the execution of the State budget and the budgets of state trust funds for the first quarter of 2021 was also considered.

Funds have been allocated to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Services in order to prevent the penetration and spread of a new type of coronavirus.
