Huawei employees were transferred from Russia to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan

The Chinese electronics manufacturer Huawei has transferred some of its employees from Russia to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. It is noted that employees transferred to Kazakhstan will be responsible for the development of the company's business not only in this country, but also in all CIS countries.
The Chinese company has started redistributing its Russian employees to work in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan from the spring of 2022. It turns out that some of the employees are managers and leaders of Huawei divisions from China. They were sent to Russia at the beginning of the year, but later they were sent to other CIS countries.
Some Russian managers are also sent on long business trips. According to Denis Kuskov, CEO of the Telecom Daily analytical agency, they are expected to move mainly to Kazakhstan.
The company started moving its employees in July-August, and Kazakhstan was chosen from among all the CIS countries. This market is the largest and most promising for Huawei in the region, said Kuskov.
According to him, the employees transferred to Kazakhstan will be responsible for the development of the company's business not only in this country, but also in all CIS countries. In the spring, a number of large retailers, manufacturers of smartphones and other telecommunications equipment announced that they would stop their activities in Russia or withdraw from the Russian market.
Huawei has not made an official statement about continuing or leaving Russia. In early August, the Chinese company announced the suspension of sales on its Vmall marketplace, but promised to ship orders to customers and maintain warranty service for purchases already made.
Globally, Huawei's net profit for the first half of 2022 fell 52 percent to 15.1 billion yuan ($2.2 billion).
