«I was glad to see the changes taking place in the mahalla and the fact that you got a job» - Shavkat Mirziyoyev

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Rabotikalmok mahalla in Bukhara Region and got acquainted with life of the residents.
More than 9,000 people live here. The results of targeted work at the grassroots level are also reflected in this mahalla - entrepreneurship is actively developing and the number of jobs is growing. In particular, a sewing enterprise has been set up on a formerly empty plot of land. As a result, more than 30 women have gained employment in their mahalla. In spite of the fact that the enterprise has recently opened, it has already received orders for 100 thousand knitted garments.
The Head of State got acquainted with the activities of this enterprise and talked to the employees.
"I was happy to see the changes taking place in the mahalla and that you got jobs. This is a small result of our joint efforts with the people. If the hokimiyat and organisations create the conditions, if every family can take care of their livelihood, I will consider that I have achieved my goal. Then our large family, our state, will be strong," the President said.
There is also an exhibition of products made by local craftswomen and businesswomen. They spoke about how they employ women in their enterprises and home-based workshops. The Head of State instructed those in charge to support their efforts.
The Rabotikalmok mahalla has more than 10 trade and service outlets, and there is also a service centre for entrepreneurs. The building of the mahalla has been thoroughly renovated. A teahouse, library, sports ground, bathhouse and alley are organized for meaningful leisure of the residents.
The head of our state familiarized himself with these conditions and visited the family of Bakhtiyor Pulatov.
