Implementation of investment projects in Tashkent region studied

Working Group members headed by Deputy Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Olimhon Rustamov visited Yangiyul district of Tashkent region, where they familiarized with progress in implementation of investment projects.

During the visit, a number of production facilities of the district were visited and discussions were held with initiators of projects, problematic issues and proposals on further development of enterprises were identified.

In particular, the group visited an enterprise producing ready-made denim products, FASHION JEANS GARMENT LLC. The company is planning to export finished jeans products worth USD 1.2 million to Europe by the end of 2022.

Another facility on the route is Grand Hygienic Manufacturing, which will produce bottles for hygiene products. The value of the investment project is worth 2 million dollars. The start-up of the factory created 40 new jobs. The production capacity is 1.2 million bottles of hygiene products.

On the same day, it was visited Alucabel Pairav Ltd investment project, in which 54,6 billion soums of foreign investments were invested. The enterprise, which created 60 new jobs, produces 1.68 thousand tons of aluminum and copper cables a year.

As a result of the visit, the responsible heads of local authorities were instructed to provide support measures for project initiators to ensure uninterrupted production and export of products.
