Implementation of resolutions of the Senate: Seminar training in Tashkent

The Committee on Youth, Culture and Sports held a seminar for deputies of the Tashkent city and district Kengashes of people's deputies On May 5, 2021, the press service of the Senate reported.

The event was attended by senators elected from Tashkent, deputies, chairmen of the permanent commissions of Kengashes, specialists from the Ministry of Finance, members of the Youth Parliament under the Senate and media representatives.

Important issues raised at the seminar by senators and experts were the issues of ensuring public participation in spending local budget funds, as well as establishing a special fee per unit of fuel for the development of regional roads. They also talked about the laws approved at the fourteenth plenary session of the Senate, rendering assistance to the activities of the "Halkparvar" commissions.

Moreover, the senators presented manuals prepared for the deputies of local Kengashes on the organization of parliamentary and public control over the execution of resolutions of the Kengash of the Senate.

At the end of the seminar, it was emphasized that the issues raised under the agenda will be under the constant control of the Senate.

 The research of the above mentioned issues are going on in Tashkent.
