Importance of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with leading companies of Tatarstan

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted a delegation headed by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on 11 October.

Issues of expanding practical partnership with Tatarstan and promoting joint innovative projects in priority sectors of the economy have been discussed in detail.

The first results of mutually beneficial cooperation at the level of leading companies and enterprises have been noted with satisfaction.

Cooperation is expanding within the chemical-industrial technopark "Chirchik" in Tashkent region. In particular, 16 investment projects are being prepared and implemented.

Prospects of expanding cooperation and promoting projects in mechanical engineering, production of new types of chemical products, low-tonnage chemistry and oil refining, agricultural production, IT-sector in line with adopted road map were discussed.

Particular attention has been paid to the implementation of joint business projects in regions of Uzbekistan, including Jizzakh and Tashkent regions.

An agreement has been reached on implementation of education, training and advanced professional qualification programmes in technical professions.
