In Denmark, COVID-19 has been recognized as a disease requiring no special measures

As of December 8, the Danish Health Authority has decided to consider COVID-19 as an incurable disease such as influenza or a cold. This is reported by the department's press service.
This decision was made due to the stable number of hospitalizations with COVID-19, the high level of vaccination of the population and the fact that the omicron variant causes a less severe course of the disease.
The agency currently recommends testing if symptoms appear, are at risk, or are directly related to treatment. In addition, there are no recommendations for isolation after a positive test for COVID-19.
