In Khorezm, it is planned to implement 698 investment projects worth 6.4 trillion soums

On June 28 of this year, the Government Commission on Foreign Trade, Investment, Development of Local Industry and Technical Regulation under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic Uzbekistan S.Umurzakov and the heads of ministries, departments, industry associations and commercial banks went to Khorezm region to study the current state of socio-economic development the region and the development of measures to further stimulate it.

Members of the Commission visited enterprises and industrial facilities, communicated with entrepreneurs and exporters, discussed issues related to production and export activities, and also considered the problems that representatives of the private sector face in practice.

The results of the analysis were studied at a meeting held in the form of a videoconference with the participation of members of the Commission and heads of local authorities of districts and cities of the region.

Within the framework of the agenda of the meeting, the implementation of the regional investment program was considered. In particular, in the current year it is planned to implement 698 investment projects worth 6.4 trillion soums in the region, as a result of which about 15.3 thousand new jobs will be created. The work on the formation of new investment projects in the priority sectors of the region has been studied, as well as the activities of the production facilities that have been put into operation until now.
