Individual entrepreneurs were granted new tax benefits
According to the decree signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, from October 1, the obligation to submit tax reports to the tax authorities by individual entrepreneurs-payers of fixed personal income tax is canceled.
The ban on the display for sale and sale in retail trade of some ready-made imported consumer goods is lifted after 12 months from the date of registration of the customs declaration.
From January 1, 2022 to January 1, 2023, the social tax rate established for individual entrepreneurs whose activities extend in the regions of Uzbekistan (with the exception of Tashkent) is determined with its reduction by 2 times, in the amount of 50% of the basic calculated value.
The above changes will be made to the Tax Code by the beginning of 2022.
The President granted the Chamber of Commerce and Industry the authority to confirm circumstances of uncertain force (force majeure) arising under local agreements.
Since January 1, 2022, the regulatory authorities have been checking the activities of business entities according to the approved questionnaire. Inspections are allowed after the implementation of preventive measures to prevent offenses, with the exception of inspections carried out within the framework of criminal cases and operational investigative activities, as well as on the basis of appeals and information about violations of the law.
Since 2022 the Index of Freedom of Entrepreneurial Activity is being introduced, aimed at determining and reducing the level of administrative pressure on business entities.
