Institute of National Variety Art named after Batyr Zakirov opens in Tashkent

The Institute of National Variety Art named after Batyr Zakirov will open at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.

The educational process at the university will begin in the 2021/2022 academic year, training will be conducted on the basis of a state grant and a paid contract. At the institute, it will be possible to get a specialty in the areas of study at the conservatory, and from the 2022/2023 academic year - also according to the new ones specified in Appendix No. 2 (not yet made public) to the resolution.

Students of the 2-4th year of the Conservatory studying in the areas that will be transferred to the Institute of National Variety Art, respectively, will continue their studies at the new university.

The institute will create a memorial complex and a museum dedicated to the memory of Batyr Zakirov; performing schools "ustoz - shogird" ("mentor - student") of famous representatives of the Uzbek national stage; modern creative studios and information resource center.

The new university will temporarily be located in the buildings and structures of the children's school of music and art No. 3 on the Beshagach massif in Tashkent. In the future, he will move to a building on the territory adjacent to the conservatory, the construction of which is now at the final stage.
