International trade centre opened on the Afghanistan-Uzbekistan border

"Tolonews" notes that the first part of the international trade centre Termez, located on the border of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, was opened on December 27.
It was noted that the joint market was created to develop trade and economic cooperation between businessmen of the two countries. The market has four thousand shops, a health centre, a restaurant, and a separate production and logistics zone.
It is noted that with the completion of all parts of this market, Afghan citizens can enter this market without a visa and stay there for up to ten days.
"At least $75 million has been invested in this major project and great trade opportunities have been created for traders in Afghanistan and Uzbekistan," says the management.
The second part of the market will reportedly be open to traders in the first three months of 2023.
